About our Client - Our client is a world renowned Financial Institution with many subsidiary/ group companies and a strong pan-India presence. They have been consistently outperforming their peers in the sector and are currently searching for someone to take the reins of their group finance function from their HO in Mumbai.

Job Description - Reporting to the Director - Finance you will be responsible for:

- Policy Making, Consolidation & Strategic Accounting including Overall controllership

- Regularly interacting across functional areas with senior management to ensure service levels of Finance department are met

- Playing the role of Business Partner / solution provider on finance related matters

- Managing and ensuring end-to-end delivery of SLAs for all the processes managed

- Driving the development, sustenance and continual improvement of the operating frameworks for all the processes that support business outcomes and strategy

- Ensuring all processes adhere to quality parameters, legal & statutory compliances and best practice requirements

- Managing strategic projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes

- Proposing and managing budgets for the processes in accordance with internal procedures

- Pro-actively communicating with and reporting to senior management teams both formally and informally

- Coaching, guiding and supporting team to achieve department and strategic objectives

- Managing all aspects of the Group's Financial and Secretarial functions.

- Overseeing the company's financial policies, cash management, budgeting, cost control, statutory compliance and financial reporting (Indian GAAP & IFRS)

The Successful Candidate - You will be a professionally qualified MBA (finance) from a reputable B-School/ a qualified CA, with 12-15 years of overall experience. You will have strong people management skills and be well equipped to lead a large team. You will have had prior experience of internal stake holder management and Consolidation of off shore accounts. You will have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. You will be a result oriented, self- starter with an ability to work independently.
