Job Summary :
The Vice President, Franchise Sales & Development oversees franchise sale and manage development activity for all of the Retail Group within the specified region.
The role prospects and executes new franchise and management agreements. This position nurtures the talent within Franchise Sales and Development team, forecasts executions/openings, and communicates with potential and existing customers.
- Works closely with CEO for growing the brand presence by securing the right franchise and management opportunities, while leveraging existing master franchisor relations.
- To search, evaluate, select & appoint new franchisees for BD and create a strong chain of BD franchisees at a national level. We are looking at 500 nos in the next 3 years on pan india basis
- To ensure that these franchisees are trained to follow the store operating SOP's, policies, guidelines in full compliance with the brand/product/service and store operating manual.
- Monitor & drive their sales performance and do regular store audit for compliance
- Convert the relevant existing ARS's into franchisees and do the same for them in terms of store performance, operating standards and compliance
- Provide training/shadowing to new hires
- Assist in closing and executing deals for new franchise and management agreements
- Execute document management and closing agreements related to deals
- Forecasting/budgeting and monitoring short and long term projections and targets
- Effective in cultivating and maintaining relationships
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Home & You Franchise and Retail operations across PAN India understanding financial and legal matters
Education & Experience :
- 15 plus years experience in retail/Franchise Development
- MBA/PG
