VP - Fixed Income Middle Office

Department: Fixed Income Middle Office

Function: Credit/Rates/MBS MO

Work Hours: US hours (5:30PM – 3:30AM)

Reporting to: Executive Director, Fixed Income Middle Office

post trade support to our US Fixed Income trading desks covering the entire range of fixed income asset classes like Credit, Interest Rate, Leveraged Loans and Securitized Products.

Current team - 30

- Post Graduate with 10+ years of experience, bulk of which should have been in managing similar functions within an Investment Bank. Having experience across various functional areas within IB Operations (other than Middle Office/Trade Support) will be a definite edge.

- Hands on knowledge of various Fixed Income asset classes (Bonds/Repos/Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives) are highly desirable.

- Good understanding of various trade support functions typically performed by a middle office in an investment bank (inter/intra system reconciliations, bookings, amendment, trade life cycle management)

- Conceptual understanding of daily P&L production for trading desks and how the trade support functions helps mitigate risk.

- Good understanding of front to back trade lifecycle from booking to confirmations to settlements and finally asset servicing.

- Top notch communication skills.

- Experience of building and running high performing teams

- Prior experience of working in an international setting.

- Track record of having led change programs in earlier organizations.
