About our Client: Our client is a leading global player in the investment banking space, with a massive presence across the globe. With a very strong foothold in India, they are looking to add a VP - Financial Control, based out of their Pune office.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director - Financial Accounting, your key responsibilities will include:

- Financial Reporting - performing all necessary steps to guarantee accurate and timely balance sheet substantiation, consolidation and closing of accounts.

- Preparation of legal entity review packs along with the detailed Balance Sheet and P&L analysis.

- Liaisoning with counter parties including Operations, Product Control, Tax, Ops Risk, Regulatory team and Group reporting to resolve any issues.

- Management of audits - both internal and external Reviewing team performance on a regular basis and contributing to efficiency initiatives.

The Successful Candidate:

- You will be a CA with at least 12 years of post qualification experience, with rich exposure to reporting and financial control.

- The incumbent needs to have hands-on experience as well as strong team handling and people management skills.
