About our Client - A leading listed manufacturing conglomerate with operations spanning 56 countries and employing more than 12,000 people across the globe. They have investments across - mining, metals, textiles, engineering and construction. Off the success of their market leading business in India, they are planning on expanding their operations across new geographies and business verticals. They are looking for a dynamic Vice President - Finance to head up the short-term funding based at corporate.
Job Description - Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and managing a team of 8 people you would be responsible for:
- Managing working capital requirements - non-funding and funding requirements for the business
- Oversee the CMA data and arrange short term funding
- All aspects of Forex/Risk management
- Trade finance requirements - Buyers credit, bank guarantee and suppliers credit
- In addition, you would be required to lead, motivate and train the internal team as well.
The Successful Candidate - You are a Chartered Accountant or MBA or Cost Accountant with 15 to 20 years of post qualification experience currently managing the working capital requirements, trade finance and forex requirements for a leading manufacturing with a turnover in excess of 2,000Cr. You have extensive experience in working with bankers, have the ability to leverage existing relationships with bankers and can negotiate on behalf of the company. You are articulate and have a strong track record of success in the same role in your past organisation.
