Job Description

Reporting to Head - Finance, you will be responsible to:

- Pro-actively manage the team and the accurate and timely payment of payroll, including salaries, commissions, bonuses and incentives for multiple entities

- Conduct payroll audit, resolve errors and respond to associate inquiries with the support of HR

- Audits and reconciles tax filings and year end reports prepared by tax service, addresses related tax correspondence and maintains tax records in accordance with regulations

- Interface with Payroll Accountants to accurately reconcile monthly bank statements, wire transfers for tax filing and payroll related general ledger activity

- Ensure accuracy and security are maintained regarding disbursement of off-cycle payroll checks

- Oversees the administration of direct deposit, organizational deductions and payments to designated agencies, as well as associate garnishments, employment and wage verifications, pension payments and reconciliation, and union dues

- Serve as the primary liaison with the different teams, and the primary contact for vendor support. Periodic data exchanges between Payroll, Self Service, and Time Accounting, and file uploads of approved Compensation plans

- Responsible for the resolution of issues with the payroll service provider

The Successful Applicant

- You are Qualified CA with over 12 years of experience in accounting, consolidation & control. Sound understanding of laws and statutory regulations pertaining to financial management, accounting, audit, compliance, taxation, accounting standards and application including international accounting and IFRS / US GAAP is preferable. You should also have a proven track record of influencing individuals to drive results and good communication and presentation skills.
