About Our Client

Our client is one of the leading Financial Institutions Globally. Due to expansion in their global business, an outstanding newly created opportunity has arisen at a very critical senior position for effective execution and management of Risk and Control across their securities operations services centre. They are looking for seasoned professional with around 10 years of experience to join their team as VP - Enterprise Risk Management.

Job Description

- You will be responsible for driving the operational framework and managing the operational risk profile across the securities operations shared service catering to diverse businesses each with major inherent risk exposures.

You would also be responsible for:

- To build and drive the implementation and management of the Operational and Regulatory Risk control framework.

- To continuously improve management of the Operational Risk framework across Business using global risk management tools such as RCSA, MCA etc. in identifying the need for adaptation of controls to meet changes in the risk profile and optimize balance between controls and risk.

- Effective and proactive risk management within business, ensuring Senior Management engagement with operational risk objectives.

The Successful Applicant

- The successful applicant MUST possess:

- Expertise in operational risk and control, with an in depth understanding of risk frameworks, control environment and knowledge of risk and control failures.

- CA/MBA with minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Operational Risk, Audit, Compliance and Front/Middle/Back office operations.

- Strong understanding of Basel, SOX and other prevalent global regulations.

- Experience of working in a change environment within Financial Services.

- Ability to operate and influence at executive level and build relationships with key stakeholders.

- Proven success in stakeholder management and working in diverse teams.
