VP - Enterprise Data Management - Inv Bank

Currently we have an opening for VP Enterprise Data Management. Candidate should have experience in entire reference data (client, organizational and instrument data)

This is a global role which primarily exists to ensure that the day-to-day activities of the Reference Data (Client, Books & Product Data) teams within Enterprise Data Management (EDM) function are managed efficiently covering Asia Ex Japan, Japan, EMEA and US time zones.

Experience Required – min 12 years of experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for owning and delivering functional as well as location objectives for EDM.

- Ensuring adherence to SLAs and the quality of service delivery. Define, develop and review metrics for the processes. Constant benchmarking of the metrics to ensure continuous improvement within the processes.

- Ensuring adequate checks and controls are in place within the processes.

- Refining processes and procedures and re-engineering them to enhance controls and meet adequate risk / cost trade-off. Constructively engage the operational risk team in driving proactive control enhancements in the processes.

- Refine and own BCP model for the Client, Books & Product Data functions.

- Own and drive change initiatives, ensuring efficient co-ordination between the change function, technology and operations.

- Evaluate performance of staff and contribute to creation, development and retention of leadership talent.

- Ensure adequate and relevant training for staff.

- Build relationships / engage with other departments within the bank like Middle Office, Confirmations and Settlements, Operations Control, Legal, Risk & Compliance locally as well as across various locations such as Asia Ex Japan, Japan, EMEA & US regions. Build relationships with own counterparts across all the regions.
