Position Summary

- Responsible for all of the company’s product development activities.

Responsibilities

- Develop strategic planning for and direction and control of product development activities.

- Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management, for all product development.

- Ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and/or customer requirements, per the product and/or marketing requirements.

- Ensure that the product is fully and correctly defined and documented. Hire and direct staff of senior group members and directors to acquire necessary resources and plan to meet scheduled commitments.

- Ensure implementation of formal processes to support the product development process.

Requirement

- At least 12 years engineering experience. Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science from premier institutes will be preferred.

- Preferably a person who has been working in startups as VP or Director of Engineering for the past 2-6 years Someone who has been hands-on in his recent jobs.

- A candidate who has worked on at least one of the following domains as his main job (not hobby) for a continuous period of 2 years in the past 4 years – online advertising, data analytics, e-commerce

- Strong operational and project management skills.

- Excellent team building and leadership skills is a must have.

- Solid understanding of engineering technical issues/needs, financial, sales, and marketing as related to product design and development.

- Product development experience in any one of the domains online advertising/ data analytics/ e-commerce is a must
