We have immediate opportunity as Director / VP Financial / Regulatory Reporting role with a top investment bank based in Chennai. Needs candidates who has relevant domain experience.

Job Description:

- The VP / Director–is a critical role and is key to the successful delivery of Global Asset Services operating model. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall service delivery of various Asset Services functions which trades across multiple markets around the world US / EMEA Region. This role requires very close interactions with various Investment Banking operations team, client representatives and it is essential that the candidate is effective at dealing with senior management. That he/she can win commitment to implementing /changing policy or process.

Requirements:

- You will be responsible for the execution of the teams’ organisational development / transformation.

- Preparation of Management reports and Departmental initiatives, and interfacing with the different departments and the Onshore Team in London to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

- The Director / VP would also be responsible for Business Continuity, Audits, Transformation, Operational Risk & Control and people related initiatives and represent Asset Services in various forums like Operational Review Board, Performance Review Board and other organizational initiatives.

- Performance of the Line against the pre-agreed Service Level Documents that exist between each processing function.

- You will be self motivated with a continuous focus on Global Strategy Development, be able to drive change keeping in mind the organisations key objectives of Control, Capacity, Cost, Client and Completeness., organisational/footprint opportunities, production support initiatives as well as develop a Productivity based Change the Bank Book of work.

- Regularly engage with internal clients such as desks / traders / BAC / finance for performance and risk reviews, escalations, provisions, write-offs and any other queries.

- Will also work with external clients and custodians to drive partnerships to manage and clear breaks and improve STP.

- To investigate the root cause of queries and provide corrective measures, deliver training via presentations with the objective of reducing the number of future queries.

- Liaison with upstream and downstream business and teams to streamline operations.

- Identify process improvements, analyse the impact that the changes bring, and provide training to the process line via various media types.

- Staff development through strong engagement and Training Need Analysis. Drive creation of subject matter expertise within team through structured training program.

- People Management in terms of driving objectives, performance reviews, succession planning, training & development needs, coaching and mentoring, building diversity, etc
