VP - Derivative Operations - Inv Bank

Looking for VP - Derivative Operations for leading Investment Banking in Bangalore.

Experience / Requirements:

1. Ideal candidate should have 12+ years of Investment Banking operations experience of which at least 4 years of experience in Derivative operations in a senior role.

2. Solid understanding of the Derivative operations is expected, including strong knowledge of Trade life cycle and hands on experience in handling Clients.

3. Should have strong knowledge on various financial products like Rates, Credit ,Equities, Structured and customised derivatives, Etc.

4. Should have at least 3+ years experience of managing relatively large teams.

5. Comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders and complex situations.

6. Strong written and verbal communication skills

7. Excellent People Management Skills

8. Experience of client facing roles (internal & external)

9. Flexibility to work in all shifts including US timezones (Primarily US)

Note : For initial 2 years the incumbent will work in US shift timings

Professional and Personal Qualifications:

1. University Degree or equivalent

2. Relevant experience with an Investment Bank or Financial Institution

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Manage multiple teams within Derivative Operations function.

2. Being hands on experience in OTC products / processes and assisting in resolving complex queries and providing direction to the team when necessary.

3. Work very closely with the process owners/stakeholders and other internal/External counterparts to ensure seamless delivery to the client.
