About our Client - Our client is one of the largest banks in the world and is looking to rapidly expand its presence in India with new roles and business functions being brought in from overseas. They are looking to hire an experienced professional to head their credit risk reporting team. The reporting team is involved in a diverse range of risk management responsibilities across businesses. Responsibilities include analyzing credit risk data, building and maintaining reports which are prepared for key stakeholders such as senior management, management committees, business groups and the regulators.

Job Description - Reporting to the Head, Risk Services you would manage a team and be responsible for the following:

- Development, implementation, and maintenance of credit risk reports covering diverse asset classes (fixed income, commodity and equity trading, loans)

- Monitor and report credit exposure created by trading activity and ensure compliance with approved limits.

- Construct presentations used to brief senior business managers and the Board of Directors

- Work with internal and external clients on ad-hoc data requests and analysis

- Working with other business groups, business analysts and IT to identify and implement solutions for external or internal requests such as new reports, data quality improvements and reporting processes improvements

- Regular monitoring of data quality Optimization and reorganization of risk data tables

The Successful Candidate - 10+ years of strong experience in credit risk reporting domain

- Excellent academic background, including a degree in a quantitative discipline, such as economics, finance, sciences or engineering

- Knowledge of financial products is essential, including an understanding of risk Greek representations and CVAR

- The role involves close work with several other areas such as Business Units, Controllers, and Risk Technology

- You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to develop quality working relationships

- Strong proficiency with SQL, Excel and VBA is required

- You need to be comfortable using many tools to obtain and understand risk information

- Experience across both market and credit risk is highly advantageous
