About our Client: Our client is one of the leading global banking institution. Due to expansion in their global business, an outstanding opportunity has arisen to lead their credit risk analysis & credit sanctioning function.

Job Description: Reporting into the Director, you would be responsible for leading a team of seasoned credit risk professionals focused on ensuring highest quality of pre-sanction & post-sanction activities along with ensuring accuracy of corporate banking sanction cases.

Your key responsibilities shall be to:

- Lead of team of qualified credit risk professionals & identify ways of writing better credit papers

- Identify early warning signals by applying different modeling techniques which would help reduce potential impairments for the bank

- Ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements and operational efficiency along with driving a culture of continuous improvement

- Act as an SME for the team on credit case writing and financial modeling, IFRS, interpreting balance sheet, cash flows & P&L

- Give recommendations on high value deals and guidance to the team on new & important deals

The Successful Candidate:

- CA/ MBA with minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the credit risk domain along with experience of leading teams

- Solid experience across credit analysis, credit sanctioning (pre & post) and credit case writing in the corporate banking domain

- Extensive knowledge to interpret lending related statements, collateral descriptions, financial statements, etc.

- Strong understanding of lending processes and operating procedures in corporate banking

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
