Chief Risk & Compliance Officer-VP

- The purpose of the role is to review internal regulatory reports to ensure the company complies with all internal policies & procedures and government regulatory requirements for its business operations in India.
- He/she acts as main content expert and performs duties related to various risk & compliance functions and assists with the adequacy of the Compliance programs.
- Primary responsibilities will include work for Global Operations Shared Services centers in India and the Consulting business in India.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing & maintaining policies & procedures necessary to support the regulatory,ethical and other obligations of the business.
- Promoting awareness & responsibility through training and regular communication
- Conducting assessments to identify regulatory,operational and reputational risk across the business activities and working with management to design programs to manage those risks.
- Conducting the risk assessment and mitigation plan to identify regulatory,operational and reputational risks across the firm's activities.
- Assisting with the development of new products & services by identifying potential risks and compliance issues.
- Identify and address conflicts of interest
- Participating in appropriate management committee & compliance leadership meetings
- Conducting periodic monitoring to confirm compliance with regulatory requirements & internal policies & procedures, identify remedial actions.
- Conducting issue-specific investigations into matters raised by business leaders.
- Managing issues relating to errors & omissions as they arise, including working with members of the legal department.
- Central Management of audits-Client,Audit firms,Internal audits & Regulators
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
EDUCATION
- Graduation degree
- Company Secretary/LLB
EXPERIENCE:
- Atleast 10 years relevant experience must. Compliance experience of minimum 5 yrs is necessary.
- Business experience of 12-13 years
