The responsibilities of the Vice President (Channel Sales) – Platform falls into two areas;
1) Operations Management
2) Broker Management.
Operations Management :
- Build the operational business plan for the Platform business
- Build the organization structure of the new business (focus on Broker Relationship team)
- Guide the management of all teams within the business to agreed-upon targets
- Work with product, finance, operations to set and measure metrics and identify and capture improvement opportunities
- Work with Solution Architecture and Product Management to ensure client needs are
reflected in the development roadmap
- Develop and manage the budget for the team including hiring, staff development (training) and travel budgets
- Work with managers and HR to formalize compensation bands and develop career pathways for the Customer Success team
Broker Management:
- Oversee management of all broker accounts to ensure client satisfaction and reference-ability
- Develop, refine and institutionalize account management standards and practices
- Coach Broker Relationship Managers and shepherd development of their client management and communications skills
- Drive development of metrics and reporting to be provided to brokers clients by working with clients to assess their needs
- Guide the collaboration between lead generation and broker relationship managers to ensure account-level economic results hit or exceed targets
- Develop and institutionalize a standard project management approach and reporting structure
Qualifications:
- Graduate and MBA from a premier institute, ex IIT/IIM/ISB
- 10+ years of professional experience including 3+ years in a services leadership position with a customer internet or agency/distribution company
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and driving success by bringing together of knowledge and expertise groups
- Residential real estate experience a plus, a working knowledge of and curiosity about the real estate market are required
- Experience driving service delivery methodologies anchored in industry best practices
- Results oriented, highly motivated and driven to succeed with a track record of delighting clients while successfully managing teams to operational targets
- Experience building teams and business from initial stages to 50 Cr in revenue
- Knowledge of the digital media marketplace and technologies a plus
