VP - Capital Markets - Java Technology & Collateral Management Project Exposure

Required Qualification:-

Over all of 15+ years of experience.

Must have above 8+ years of strong development/lead experience in building large scale time critical applications in capital markets..

Working experience in design and development/lead of applications using C# .NET Java is required.

Experience in sourcing real time messages from order management and back office systems using MQ or EMS or any real time messaging with ability to understand complex data structures using XML or FPML is highly preferred.

Must have hands on working experience with any RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase IQ/ASE, MS SQL etc.). Experience/knowledge of collateral management within a brokerage firm. Repo Funding Domain experience a big plus.

Good understanding of trade processing in front/back office is a plus.

Produce knowledge on at least one of the four areas: Fixed income, equities, listed options/listed futures, derivatives and thorough understanding of trade flow/life cycle..

Knowledge of trading risk, trading profit/loss and regulatory rules is a plus..

Excellent communication & organization skills. Proven track record in Project and team management skills. Exposure/working experience in US capital markets. Bachelor degree or above is required.

Role & Responsibilities

Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign software solutions.

Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff.

Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.

Leads the migration of applications into production.

Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides.

- As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.

- Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

- Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.
