Opening in a IT company as VP Business Development. Position based at North India.
Desired Competencies / Other details:
- Sound familiarity & experience of end to end IT sales & services
- Mobility domain exposure
- Lead the Business Development & Sales Team to identify business opportunities and conversion of prospective leads to business.
- Build, nurture and sustain professional network & PR with CXOs / decision makers in target geographies
- Mix of Hunter & Farmer profiles (70:30 ratio). Initial efforts would be as Hunter, once there is a sound pipeline in Media and other BUs; eventually split the role in to Hunter & Farmer.
- Proven record of carrying Revenue targets in past (revenue booking & billing realization) also prepare and present annual & quarterly forecasting & business plan for Sales.
- High energy, good cognitive power, effective communication, analytical mind-set, influencing skill and strong negotiation skills.
- Good to have technical qualification / Delivery Management background. Alternatively should have exposure to Business Pre-sales activities and liaison with clients
- Expert in Business level proposal making along with in-house Technical Pre-Sales team
- Willing to travel domestic & overseas in target geographies for business development / service.
