VP - Branch Audit - Consumer Banking Group

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct End-to-End Audits:

- Perform comprehensive audits within the designated audit portfolio from initiation to conclusion.

- Ensure adherence to audit standards, policies, and procedures.

- Audit Planning and Coordination:

- Plan and coordinate audits effectively, ensuring all phases are executed within specified timelines.

- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to align audit objectives with business goals.

Evaluate Processes and Controls:

- Assess the design and operational effectiveness of processes and controls.

- Develop testing methodologies and execute tests to determine control reliability.

Issue Escalation and Reporting:

- Timely escalate critical issues to management and stakeholders.

- Prepare clear and concise audit findings and reports for timely presentation.

Monitoring and Adaptation:

- Stay updated with regulatory changes, industry trends, and business developments.

- Incorporate new developments into audit processes to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Data Analytics and Solutions Development:

- Develop data analytics capabilities for continuous audit improvement.

- Create reusable solutions that benefit both Internal Audit and other business functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's /Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

- Professional certification (e. , CIA, CISA, CPA) preferred, experience in internal auditing, preferably within consumer banking or financial services.

- Strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques; experience in developing audit data analytics preferred.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
