VP/AVP - Operations Analytics/Time Series Forecasting/SAS/Optimization Modelling - BFSI

The position will be leading an Operational Analytics team which is setting up in Mumbai, India. The team will be a COE for various Analytics projects focusing on capacity planning, transaction forecasting and staffing.

Experience required :

- The candidate should have 10+ years of relevant experience in Operations Research and Analytics.

- Degree in Operations Research or Operations Analytics or related field and trainings in advanced operations analytics.

- Strong Retail Banking is a must.

- Experience working with the US Retail market is a plus.

- Strong understanding of data mining models, structures, theories, principles, and practices, including machine learning, statistics and text mining techniques.

- Excellent knowledge of statistical and modeling tools such as SAS, R, Python and SQL.

- Strong familiarity and experience with statistics, modeling, segmentation, optimization, forecasting, demand mitigation is a must

The candidate will be expected to :

- Lead and provide thought leadership within modeling and strategy functions

- Partner with onshore leaders to drive projects assigned to the team

- Contribute to data mining architectures, modeling standards, reporting, and data analysis methodologies.

- Keep the team updated with the latest tools and technologies used in the industry.

- Perform in depth analysis to resolve a business problem by employing the appropriate tools available in the enterprise.
