VP/AVP- Group Regulatory Reporting

The team has end-to-end responsibility for the preparation and lodgement of regulatory returns, including monthly reviews and commentary, statutory reporting and capital requirements.

GROUP REGULATORY REPORTING

Position Level : VP / AVP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- The candidate will be expected to take on the management oversight and review of the Group Regulatory Reporting Balance Sheet stream and support Global Balance sheet reporting service line. The role will have the following responsibilities:

- Responsible for regulatory reporting requirements for the Bank and branches .

- Responsible for team engaged in preparation of regulatory returns for the various regulated entities across Australia.

- Support global reporting automation initiatives and system changes required for regulatory reporting submissions

- Facilitate periodic operational meetings with team Leads in India/ Australia to plan and strategize the priorities and upcoming challenges

- Lead and coach the team, particularly on aspects of financial control and attention to detail

- Close interaction with Information Technology Group on servicing the bank's regulatory reporting requirements

- Work with the larger Regulatory reporting team to support the bank's regulatory reporting obligations globally

- Identify areas for process improvement / efficiency, and drive process enhancements.

- Manage senior stakeholders' expectations and provide timely updates on issues/ escalations.

- Implements quality assurance practices to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of team output

- Provides guidance and support for others on how to exceed client expectations

QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND/work experience

To be considered for these roles you must possess:

- Professional accountancy qualification CA / CPA

- Experience with statutory reporting, financial accounting and compliance

- 8 - 14 years of post qualification experience

- Strong adherence to timelines and attention to details is mandatory

IFRS knowledge & experience is mandatory
