Associate Vice President / Vice President (Finance Process Reengineering)
Job Description:
- Engage leaders to adopt process excellence practices for operational improvements,
- Work with teams to solve chronic problems that impede performance,
- Deploy building blocks that embed a continuous improvement culture,
- Train and coach Leaders and teams in the use of process improvement tools and methodology to ensure timely completion of projects with expected internal and external customer results
- Lead, Own, mentor and execute projects that improve the capacity of finance processes,
- Identifies, prioritises and facilitates improvements projects that consistently meet or exceed customer-defined specifications while maximizing certified financial benefit
- Partner with Vertical and Team Leaders to drive results and assist in project identification/selection, assuring linkage between projects and business and customer priorities
- Deliver significant operational improvement and financial benefit
- Create dashboard to monitor performance and improvements in key metrics
- Act as change agent to instill continual improvement culture throughout the organization
Desired Profile:
- Self-directed, team player with experience of twelve to eighteen years proven and broad-based process management & improvement experience,
- Minimum CA, engineering degree or technology, MBA
- Experience in finance/accounting functions and processes,
- Good Knowledge of Finance Processes
- Deep knowledge of Lean and past experience in leveraging lean as an enabler for business improvement,
- Facilitated transactional-related projects in finance domain with demonstrated success and financial results
- Demonstrable past experience in leveraging lean concepts such as load balancing for creating process capacity and productivity improvement,
- Understanding of change management fundamentals and how to manage it during process improvements,
- Facilitation and Influencing skills to
- Beyond Lean, experience in Six Sigma tools, Kaizen/Work-out, process management, change management
- Experience in coaching and delivering training at all levels of an organization
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skill
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to create an open environment supportive of free sharing of information and ideas that is also conducive to contribution, growth and achievement
- Customer focused behavior
- Experience in driving improvements in service set up especially in a finance function,
- Proficiency in Windows, Minitab, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and simulation software
- Certification as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Black Belt, BPM Leader or Lean Master or equivalent preferred
