Role Description :
The role deliverables include data analysis, providing analytics insights, model development, validation, calibration, strategy development, monitoring and reporting, information management and business intelligence. The deliverables form the basis for strategic planning by the senior management for businesses and enables effective decision making to satisfy business needs and requirements along with addressing unforeseen challenges.
Role Responsibilities :
- Help in designing and implementing the various Group frameworks through team related to IFRS9 & Stress testing model priorities
- Lead and manage all activities related to Wholesale Stress Testing, IFRS9 across all regions.
- Manage overall project pipelines and provide best in class solutions to Group & key regions on the above analytical problems.
- Innovate, Drive standardization and functional thought process across teams by owning and delivering various Portfolio analytics Global Redeployable solutions across Stress Testing, IFRS9 and portfolio analytics.
- Functionally and administratively manage a large team of analysts and managers to deliver key business objectives and help them drive quality solutions.
- Maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders including Group and regions. Promote collaboration with Group and Regional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Create functional capability within the team to develop multiple SMEs who are capable to drive projects and work as partners to onshore stakeholders.
- Evaluate and manage performance for entire team on timely manner and drive meritocracy.
Role Requirements :
- Masters in Economics / Engineering (or B-tech with relevance experience) / Stats/Maths, MS / MBA in Finance preferably from a premier institute
- At least 12 years of professional experience in financial services and risk analytics.
- Prior experience in credit risk analytics, risk management and statistical model development into Wholesale Stress testing, IFRS9 would be preferred.
- Understanding of regulatory implications and relevance
- Management of project teams, both direct and matrix
- Understanding of commercial banking and related products
- Prior experience of managing a large team involving complex and multiple sub functions having diverse challenges and stakeholders.
- Ability to handle senior managers within the team and create career path for them.
