- One of our client a leading renewable energy EPC company is a venture backed by indians leading industrial grown in the renewable energy business, a leading solar developer and renewables EPC player in India. Based in India, It aims to be a global leader in deploying Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia powered industry solutions.
- Founded by industry professionals bringing in combined 50+ years of international experience in A) Renewables, B) Industrial Front End Engineering and Design (FEED), C) Industrial Gases operations and safety, and D) Project finance/Private Equity
- We develop and deploy scaled-up commercially attractive Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia production assets. We combine our in-house expertise in renewable power, process industry, gases, and project financing with latest innovation and know-how from our network of global OEMs and EPC firms.
We are looking for VP/ AVP ( Business development) for our client's office in Gurgaon, the
job requires extensive travel across india.

JD :
- In short, you are running a business unit inside of a larger organization with significant support to aid in your Business success / Revenue.
- We must always operate as a team with a focus on pleasing our customers, providing for the well-being of our employees, and making money to ensure long term success of our organization.
- Provide strong leadership & engagement to the organization especially to the front line field employees with a positive attitude and calm demeanor
- Responsible for the Sales and Operations Department to ensure a proper hand-off process from time of sales through operations to provide the best customer experience possible
- Work closely with Project and Estimating teams in a collaborative manner, providing consistent feedback on estimates with factual data.
- Lead Business Development and New Market / Technology Entry Strategies: Identify and implement growth markets potential and define market entry strategies, including, competitive landscape, path to customer acquisition, resource requirements.
- Collaborate effectively and build consensus with leadership as well as development, legal, accounting, and engineering teams.
- Assign and review all bids with your sales and estimating staff.
- Focus on job preparation of new projects to set the teams up for success and avoid the need to react to issues at the back end of projects
- Efficiently Utilize Sales and Operations technology to produce efficient end-user information and eliminate re-work in processes
- Evaluate internal processes involving sales, operations, and other customer-facing functions and provide recommendations for procedural efficiencies targeted toward gross margin metric improvements and revenue generating initiatives
- Work together with in-house sales and operations teams to understand processes for submitting detailed and accurate designs, measurements, estimates, and proposals
- Performing estimating and set-up of in process solar project change orders
- Research, investigate, and provide remedies for solar project errors regarding costs, estimates, and operational measures
- Ensure full life-cycle customer relationship management including but not limited to proactive customer service initiatives, resolving customer concerns in a timely manner, and proactively problem solve for best outcome
- Ensure process breakdowns are not repeated and corrections are communicated to all staff for future guidance and process improvement
- Work with Human Resources to assist in interviewing process and matching manpower talent to business needs ensuring consistent workforce planning pipelines are available to the business
- Provide mentoring and coaching to staff and assist in creating a culture of collaboration and learning
- Conduct annual performance evaluations of your management staff
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in technology in the solar / renewable energy industry
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures
- Balance time as necessary between office and field responsibilities.
- Managing proper administration of weekly accuracy with paid-to-date reports during
- Operations meetings with your project management staff
- Responsible for proper tracking of pending change orders and the processing of the change order approval process with your project management staff
- Responsible for all company invoicing submission to billing clerk
- Responsible for ensuring staff completion of daily and weekly MIS reports
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining company-owned solar / Renewable energy arrays
