With the current expansion in their global operations, they are looking for experienced operational risk /audit professionals for the market / counter-party credit risk vertical.

Job Description

You would be responsible for setting up & developing the overall control environment to manage operational risk and compliance for the market & credit risk vertical. As the 1st line of defense the key responsibility of the function shall be identification and management of risks through robust controls framework as well as providing assurance of the established controls.

Your key responsibilities shall include:

- Planning, testing, and reporting on Controls effectiveness

- Applying the Controls Assurance framework for Market Risk which includes test planning, testing, and reporting on the effectiveness of key and SOX controls

- Provide annual plans for Market Risk controls testing in consultation with Regulatory, Policy and Market Risk business and control specialists

- Maintain the Assurance RACA dataset for Market Risk controls ensuring appropriate approval for material changes to the test definitions or testing procedures

- Review and analyze processes documented to date to ensure fitments with the documentation standards Draft and document new processes as per the business requirement by Enterprise Ennoblement work streams

- Analyze and document process risks and design controls to mitigate these risks

The Successful Applicant

- You must be a CA/MBA with minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role

- Comprehensive understanding of Operational Risk Management, Assurance & Controls with good knowledge of SOX, Governance, Control Framework and Risk Reporting

- Prior experience of operational risk/audit in the market risk or counter party credit risk domain is must

- Excellent Knowledge of regulatory requirements with respect to operational risk (e.g. Basel II and Sarbanes Oxley 404) is extremely critical

- Excellent communication skills along with team management experience is critical
