VP - Analytics - Modeling - BFSI

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the teams developing models/ strategies across multiple portfolios and regions.

2. Act as Subject Matter Expert in Statistical Model Development and Retail Business Products leading projects and working directly with business to deliver high quality output.

3. Deliver on new requirements as requested from the various governance bodies in the regions and comply with regional as well as global governance standards.

4. Drive initiatives which ensure higher efficiency (automation, training manual, white paper etc.)

5. Monitoring and review of all projects with stakeholders to ensure that all stated SLAs are met.

6. Work with multiple customers/functions on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver in a timely, efficient and effective manner.

7. Have Strong understanding of business domain, its strategic direction, functional goals, and the required technical expertise.

8. Sees the 'bigger picture' and assesses relationships between recommended analytical solutions / projects and business performance.

9. Makes decisions, even with ambiguous /incomplete data at a pace that balances the need for further analysis and the need for timely decision given business pressures / requirements.

10. Drives timely decision making and actions to address systemic obstacles.

11. Recruit, on-board, train, coach and develop talent. Provide necessary people management.

Pre-requisites:

1. Masters degree or Ph.d in mathematics/ statistics/ economics or equivalent quantitative subjects

2. At least 10+ years of relevant experience in analytics preferably in the fields like Modeling, Loss Forecasting/Reserving , Modeling, Stress Testing etc.

3. At least 8+ years of Business Leadership Experience focused primarily in the Banking & Financial Services Domain.

4. At least 5+ years of proven statistical analysis or equivalent

5. Proven leadership track record in dynamic/changing marketing environments

6. Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally

7. Strong track record of managing and leading large teams
