Role : Product Manager Domestic MPLS , Global MPLS
Function / Department :Product Solutions & Partnerships
Location: Mumbai
Job Purpose :
Business Management of the MPLS, Global IPVPN and Cloud Connect portfolio, holistically, for maximum value creation for customers and businesses across their lifecycles. To define the medium and long term product strategy and manage the complete lifecycle of the domestic MPLS, Global MPLS and VPN extended connect product portfolio. The role focus is to drive revenues, strengthen the existing MPLS product portfolio by launching differentiators and complementing features and target double-digit revenue market share in the next 3 years.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :
- Market mapping of current and future product capabilities, sizing of business opportunities and creation of product strategy based on market needs and customer insights.
- Key accountability of sustaining and growing the revenue to DOUBLE the market share in 5 years
- Working with Global cloud providers and drive a strategy of integrating cloud with VIBS eco system digitally for higher CXX, operational agility and faster revenue realization.
- Align and engage with Group to strengthen the Global MPLS portfolio of services and drive a larger market share.
- Actively participate in key strategic deals as a subject matter expert by providing solutions and commercial support.
- Deliver new products to market as per product roadmap and monitor performance with respect to SLAs and customer satisfaction.
- Drive day-to-day product and revenue management. Rigorous sales and funnel governance to increase revenue market share.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
- Deep understanding of connectivity- IP MPLS, Cloud products
- Expertise with managing products through their full life-cycle and through a robust and rigorous Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.
- End-to-end proposition development experience including developing product concepts, business cases, delivering products through NPD cycles and as building robust Go-to-market plans.
- Strong understanding of overall operating model and systems and processes for connectivity product lines.
- The role demands very strong influence and leadership skills to drive engagements with Group product heads and global product managers to ensure all VIBS feature requirements are a part of Groups roadmap.
Must have technical/professional qualifications :
Professional qualifications (preferable):
- Engineering Graduate / MBA or equivalent
- Product Management certifications- Pragmatic Marketing/Blackblot/Equivalent
