Channel Development Lead - m-pesa
Responsible for partnering in conceptualizing the telecom and non-telecom distribution strategy including creation of business models that would help the business play an active role in the existing money transfer market, work along with the circle teams to build use cases which can then be replicated across the country as well as assist in the process of the customer moving from an agent assisted model to a self-assisted model of doing all his transactions from his wallet
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
- Identify relevant Telco MBOs and enable them to run the M Pesa business
- Activate Exclusive Retail on M Pesa
- Identification of Alternate channel opportunities including Local or national tie ups
- Guide and mentor circle teams on creation of right type of MBO, Retail & Alternate channel
- Drive revenue maximization from these channels
- Create and provide support required for establishing the Alternate channel
- Ensure that the HSW norms are adhered to
Key performance indicators :
- No of agents created across Channels
- Total throughput delivery from alternate channel
- Total Money transfer as a % to Throughput
- Customer Acquisition against targets
- Active customers against targets measured as T2M

- Sales acquisitions numbers from the channels and thereby the acquisition revenue as well as contribute to the through put targets of various verticals especially money transfer

- Adherence to Vodafone Way.
