Job description

VMock is looking for a world-class Social Media Manager with deep knowledge of social media, a strong track record in creating innovative campaigns, and digital marketing to scale user audience in India and the US on our digital platform. The Social Media Manager will be accountable for global management of the VMock presence across on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, blogging platforms and all other social channels with a focus on listening to, engaging with, and growing our audience across key platforms. You will work closely with people across our Marketing and Product teams

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop a strategy to rapidly increase the followership of VMock across channels and to VMock’s online platform

- Work extensively on building Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and other social media profiles

- Coordinate and develop campaigns to support VMock’s strategic goals and imperatives

- Manage an international team in coordinated social media efforts

- Create and produce content customized to channels to drive social media efforts

- Monitor and analyze marketing data, campaign data and site analytics to drive social media strategy

- Produce reports on marketing analytics across social media platforms

- Manage advertising across multiple platforms

- Collaborate with product development teams to incorporate consumer voice into products

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

- Passion for working in a start-up and marketing of digital products

- An exciting portfolio of past campaigns/content/creative projects

- 3+ years of relevant work experience at interactive, advertising, public relations, or marketing agencies and/or experience managing social channels for a brand preferably in the consumer internet

- Expertise and passion for social media and community-building online, including in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, market trends, best practices, and tools of the trade

- Excellent copywriting skills and a keen visual sense. An eye for detail, a quick wit, and an ability to work within tight deadlines

- Active profiles on Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms

- Knowledge in SEO/SEM/online media, analytics, web technology, mobile campaigns, community and the concepts of creative and brand strategy

- Experience tracking and understanding attribution from social media

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
