About This Position:
We are looking for a dynamic, result- driven and independent enterprise SAAS Business Development Manager to join our fantastic team and craft strategies, drive research initiatives, and deliver tangible results. With strong project management skills, analytical thinking and persuasive communication, the ideal candidate will possess a business background that enables him/her to build, drive an engagement and maintain relationships with clients along with identifying new business opportunities in both International and Indian markets. With a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, he/she will build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross- organizationally to build consensus.
What will you deliver?
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities
- Evaluate potential strategic partnerships and alliances to expand VMock's market reach and capabilities
- Strategic planning and decision- making, stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive developments
- Develop business cases and financial models. Prepare and execute geography specific Go- To- Market and pricing strategy for business expansion
- Execute plans for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Aggressive prospecting in the respective markets for prospective customers and maintaining a healthy prospect funnel
- Forecast and track key account metrics, prepare weekly and monthly reports.
Relationship Management:
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction
- Internal Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, including senior leadership in Product, Tech, Business, Design, - Marketing and Analytics to drive cross- functional projects
- Create compelling, and effective communications for board meetings, strategy reviews, etc.
What should you have?
- MBA from Top Tier School of India or abroad
- 3- 5 years of experience in Business Development with a B2B SAAS/ Product Company (Preferred) OR a Strategy/Chief of Staff roles in startups/tech companies
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
- Ability to conceptualise and craft CXO- level presentations and dashboards
- Proven track record of driving business growth
- Strong problem- solving skills and comfort with ambiguity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong analytical skills and data- driven thinking
- Project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Possesses a high degree of integrity and a strong work ethic
- Strong sense of personal initiative, a flair for creative thinking, and driving change with measurable outcomes
- Prior experience working directly with CEOs/CXOs or Senior Leadership preferred
