VMock - Associate Product Manager - IIT/NIT/BITS/IIM/XLRI/FMS/MDI

Responsibilities - 

- Own the product strategy, road-map and requirements

- Conceptualise and describe products, features and user stories for the development team

- Handle complex ideas and break them down into concise and effective requirements to drive product development

- Engage closely with analytics and technical team to bring cutting edge features that bring value to VMock's customers

- Manage the data analytics team in building the data analytics capabilities driving platform intelligence

- Identify key insights and translate large volumes of complex data into business solutions

- Develop detailed product requirements documents and communicate to business, design, and development teams

- Collaborate with business analysts to understand data analysis requirements, data definitions and to develop data mappings, data rules, and data transformations

Requirements:

- Bachelors in Engineering from tier 1 institutions in Computer Science, Mathematics or related domains

- MBA from a leading business school in India or abroad

- Coding and software development experience preferred

- Understanding of how customer requirements are translated into meaningful products

- Leadership DNA with proven ability to excite and lead a cross-functional engineering team

- Strong knowledge of wire-framing, user-stories

- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job

- Entrepreneurial drive with hands-on experience creating products from scratch with a great user experience

- Very strong analytical/numerical skills and experience with metric-based decision making (incl. web analytics)
