- To bring in new business opportunities for vk e environmental for GHG/ESG/Product LCA works & EPD
- Acquire in depth knowledge of services provided by VK:e and prepare a Business Development plan, targeted audience & presentations
- Be part of a growing team tasked with expanding the organisation's commercial relationships with companies and corporate consultants.
- Do SWOT analysis of the company through study of target markets, competitors, favourable areas where company needs to grow by researching market and discussion with the Directors.
- Identify strategic partners and collaborative firms to approach.
- To enter into competitions (national & international), participate in tenders, competitive bidding etc with collaborative firms for large scale projects, while maintaining excellent communication channels within the involved teams.
- Proactively generate new leads, close the leads with scope of work and then after pass on the project to internal team.
- To derive a proposal, create newsletters, e-mailers etc.
- Contribute to development of an enterprise sales strategy targeting the corporate sustainability reporting ecosystem, namely companies publishing ESG/sustainability reports, corporate reporting service / life cycle assessments and allied services.
- Implement the strategy while communicating clearly, accurately and convincingly about VK e offerings.
- Respond to and follow up on inbound inquiries (which historically provide the majority of prospects as opposed to outbound prospecting).
- Research key market segments and individual organizations, including key decision makers within, to identify potential fit for VK e offerings.
- Identify business leads and leverage available networks to secure an introduction (VK e networks, Board members' networks, and/or your own network)
- Surface ideas for improvements to enhance prospecting.
- Connect with prospects, build trust and identify requirement , connect them with appropriate solutions
- Coordinate with client's business team and vendor management and VK e stakeholders to finalize work order
- Customize existing presentation and marketing materials to promote key aspects of the VK e value proposition to relevant audiences
