1. 1. Mission of position: To dig out the Indian consumer demands, deliver extreme product and experience.
2. 2. Job requirements:
2.1 Have at least 3-5 year experience of Product management in Smartphone industry or related experience, including several product/ services launches or iterations.
2.2 Experience in Product strategy, Project management and Smartphone Market analysis.
2.3 Strong analytical skills, Technical skills and communication skills
2.4 Must be handling a team in current organization
3. Job responsibilities and importance
S. No & Job Description - Importance % :
3.1 - Understand the technology and consumers and be a guide to the reporting team providing direction and inputs to get best results for Product strategy. 40%
3.2 Work closely with the Marketing and terminal department to successfully launch the Product in market. 20%
3.3 Responsible for internal team development, coaching and training to the team 20%
3.4 Develop standard tools and techniques (SOPs) for Product team 20%
4. 4. Main work process and content:
4.1 Initiate the Product strategy
- Develop and maintains product roadmap with prioritized backlog of new features and/or product enhancements, based on sound business justifications and value-addition. All the strategy related to product should finalized after the analysis of consumer insights, real market scenarios and industry updates.
4.2 Launch of a Product :
Working with marketing and terminal department to launch the product in market from deciding selling points, slogan and KV to finally sale in market. In between so many things need to follow and execute like pricing, launch event, stock planning and inner share etc. and then at the end product feedback from market.
4.3 Team development :
Ensure overall development of team members by providing regular feedback, coaching, internal and external trainings, thus improving their work efficiency
4.4 Develop SOPs :
Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) ranging from fieldwork execution to report preparation and presentation, thus ensuing smooth and standard flow of all the projects
5. 5. Indicators of performance appraisal:
