Vital Strategies India Services Private Limited is a private limited company focused on strengthening and revitalizing public health systems through designing and supporting scalable solutions to leading causes of death, disease, and injury. Vital Strategies provides technical assistance, consultation, as well as project management, design, and evaluation to a wide range of private and public sector clients to further its mission to improve and save lives, including through non-communicable disease prevention, environmental health, and urban health, with specific areas of focus in tobacco control, data for health, road safety, and air quality.
This position will work closely with the Managing Director, Manager Partnerships, and the regional and international team to contribute to the lofty business development goals of a growing company. The Business Development Analyst will maintain business development materials; support research, analysis and data collection; participate in the proposal writing and submission process; and assist in identifying potential partners for consortiums and bids.
The location for this position is New Delhi.

The salary for this position is INR 14,50,000 to INR 19,00,000. Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain business development materials updated and develop new materials as needed.
- Develop and maintain an organizational profile, capability statements, and other relevant material in context to our work and regional focus.
- Develop and update standard text for proposals and concept notes.
- Maintain past project summaries in approved formats, post approvals from tech teams
- Maintain a partner/client database.
- Identify and create a database of potential clients active in Vital's thematic work area.
- Maintain a database of recent awards, thematic areas, focus, and leadership.
- Maintain a business development opportunity tracker.
- Scan and track business development opportunities publicly available
- Input opportunities in the organization tracking system and prepare reports as requested
- Maintain and update the business pipeline opportunity forms and help the business team manage the deadlines
- Develop proposal requirements brief for each opportunity and share it with the business and technical teams for easy understanding of the opportunity
- Maintain a CV database
- Search potential consultants for existing and possible new work
- Collect CVs and develop a CV roster in appropriate formats
- Maintain CVs based on skills/specialties for ready reference
Support Proposal writing and submission Supporting on business proposals (identifying internal and external resources, preparing institutional documents as per requirements, coordinating with technical experts, drafting the budget, etc.)
- Ensuring proposals are submitted promptly and with high-level quality
- Grounding newly won projects- analyzing the project deliverables and mapping them with our core capabilities, develop a repository of similar projects and assimilate relevant details to all concerned
- Set up and participate in regular business development meetings with the country and regional leadership.
- Other activities as required
Support the relevant teams in Research, Analysis, and data collection
- Background research for deciding on which opportunities to focus on (go x no-go decision)
- Study on Public Health in India and the region (Problems, opportunities, challenges), key data points, and any additional information
- Maintain document on the Government of India's priorities in the areas of environmental health, urban health, digital healthcare, climate change, injury prevention, NCDs, Tobacco control to which Vital India can align and provide its assistance
- Maintain intel on key partners we should be working with, target geographies, and new projects aligned to our capabilities and offerings.
- Conduct the competitor analysis for BD strategic planning.
Qualification and Experience
- Graduate in any stream. Master's degree in business management preferred.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience working in the business development function (from RFA through proposal submission). Knowledge of the health sector is preferred
- Experience in researching for partners that align with business priorities
