Vishwa Samudra Engineering - Senior Manager/Associate General Manager - Legal - LLB

Role Overview:

Looking for a highly motivated person to handle contract, claim management, litigation matters, provide general legal advice to business operations.

Employment Time : Full-Time

Working Days : Monday - Saturday

Key Experience and Responsibilities:

- Be conversant with handling various legal matters, such as EPC, real estate, various types of contracts, litigation and court proceedings, arbitration proceedings, monitoring of cases and matters, Claim management etc.

- Agreement for execution of NHAI contracts through SPV Company, MOUs for bidding for Projects, Consortium I JV Agreement for execution of projects etc.

- Reviewing / Drafting and vetting of high value EPC contracts (including subcontracts), terms of tenders for State Governments, Central Government, FIDIC, EXIM, World Bank Funded and OPEC funded development projects.

- Reviewing Tender documents of Business and giving the inputs at the tender stage if any, Preparing Risk Matrix etc.

- Handling / guiding the team on procurement contracts, purchase orders & related correspondences, notices, replies etc.

- Providing legal support to the Projects, Contracts team and Interfacing with the Project Heads for compliance purpose.

- Reviewing / Drafting Consortium agreement, non-disclosure agreements, claim letters / replies.

- Possess excellent skills in drafting various types of agreements, memoranda of understanding, other commercial documents, correspondence, pleadings, legal opinion, case for opinion, notes etc.

- To draft agreements, NDA, BOOT, BOT, JV, SPV, SPA, Bank Guarantees, Indemnity, Undertakings , Tenancy agreement, Pledge, Hypothecations , POA, etc.

- Overseeing Litigation management, coordination with lawyers and legal firms for litigations and arbitrations

Basic Qualifications and Skills:

- Law degree or Equivalent from a leading university and/or law school.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate and draft fluently

- A minimum of 8 years of legal experience, including strong transactional and negotiation skills.

- The candidate must be a self-starter, have passion for EPC Sector, and enjoy working strategically and being continually challenged

- Interpersonal, negotiation, Stake holder management and relationship building, ability to work under pressure and handling ambiguity

- Willingness to travel
