As the Financial Controller at Viscadia, this role will play a pivotal part in laying the groundwork for the company's financial health and strategic growth. This role offers the opportunity for professional growth and development through diverse experiences and direct mentoring.

This role will be based out of Gurgaon in a hybrid capacity.

Roles:

1. Financial Controller or Manager: Oversee all financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

2. Bookkeeper: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

3. Analyst: Provide financial insights and data analysis to support decision-making.

4. Treasurer: Manage the company's cash flow, banking relationships, and investments.

5. Compliance Officer: Ensure the company complies with financial regulations and tax laws.

Responsibilities:

1. Accounting and Financial Reporting:

- Ensure appropriate maintenance of books of accounts, whereby all transactions and recorded accurately and timely.

- Prepare and present financial reports to the management team as required.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements prepared by Vendor partner.

2. Cash Flow Management:

- Cashflow forecasting and monitoring to ensure adequate liquidity for the company.

- Manage accounts payable and receivable.

- Manage bank accounts and optimize banking relationships.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop annual budget in consultation with director.

- Track performance against budgets and analyze variances.

- Adjust financial plans as necessary based on actual performance and market conditions.

4. Financial Planning and Analysis Support:

- Perform financial analysis as needed to support strategic decisions.

- Identify and implement cost control measures including monitoring of realised savings

- Provide financial insights and advice to the Director, CEO and other executives.

5. Compliance and Taxation:

- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, including review of tax returns filed by vendor partner

- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (FEMA, RBI etc)

- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors

6. Process Excellence:

- Streamline financial processes and procedures to ensure most efficient financial processes are implemented in the company

- Implement new processes based on growth and organisational requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and trends and work with large datasets

- Communication Skills: Ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Experience of leading teams / managing external partners would be an added advantage

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align financial management with the company's strategic goals.

- Subject matter Knowledge: Understanding of IGAAP, regulatory requirements, financial regulations and tax laws.
