About Virohan :

Virohan is a Healthcare focused Ed-Tech company training youth for jobs in the healthcare sector. We aim to create India's largest Industry demand-led EdTech platform for healthcare professionals. We are funded by Rebright Partners (Japan), elea Foundation for Ethics in Globalization (Switzerland), Artha Impact (Switzerland), Yunus Social Business (an impact fund founded by Noble Laureate Prof. Mohammad Yunus based out of Germany), AngelList, Keiretsu Forum amongst others.

Virohan is operating at the cusp of EdTech and Healthcare. Both these industries have entered a new phase of growth because of the pandemic and will grow rapidly over the next 10 years. What you'll be responsible for :

- Validate Design Assumptions using qualitative and quantitative research methods.

- Lead and evangelize best user-interface design practices creating exceptional user experience.

- Reduce Product development cost and time by keeping things on track by focusing on specific goals.

- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and create hypotheses, set research objectives, and reach unbiased conclusions.

- Lead the design process by creating sketches, wire-frames, navigation flow charts, photoshop mockups and interactive prototypes

- Validate assumptions that will guide the product team's designs

- Discover patterns and insights through focus groups, interviews, surveys, field studies, card sorting, journey mapping, testing, and more

- Keep the product design team on track by focusing on specific goals through user research objectives

- Assist the product team in making design decisions that directly impact ROI

Ideal Persona for the role :

- 3-7 years of work experience in designing.

- Excellent oral and written English communication skills

- Ability to prototype in HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, Flash or Catalyst is a strong plus,

- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Invision and Photoshop

- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

- Visual Design: Photoshop, fireworks, MS Paint, whatever works for you.

- Your process is your own; you get to decide on the tools you use
