Responsibilities
The focus of the Client Acquisition head role will be to establish and accelerate B2B (schools) customer growth. This is a key leadership and strategic role for the business, so it is essential you have prior experience of working in a startup or a high growth environment. You are able to work both strategically, yet hands on, across all acquisition channels. Your skill set will be aligned to B2B channels including; paid marketing, retail channels, events, online, business development and partnerships. You will report directly to the CEO.
More specifically you will be responsible for :
- Creating and executing a growth strategy across all acquisition channels (paid marketing, field marketing, events, retail, tech partnerships, social, organic, etc.) while simultaneously optimizing a budget and headcount around the strategy
- Development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
- Planning and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail
- Meeting key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Preparing periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Reviewing and analyzing sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
- Directing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
- Monitoring the product landscape.
- Carrying out market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key strategic partners
- 15-20% Travel may be required
