Vice President - US Trade Operations - Investment Bank

Urgent opening for VP - US Trade Operation for IB based in Mumbai

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage local operations team and provide oversight to utility team offshore.

- Meet all daily operations deliverables including Standby LC Issuance, Amendments, payments, billing related transactions, and client service requests.

- Investigate and resolve issues internally and with clients in a professional manner.

- Monitor receivable activity on trade products, and establish working relationships with clients to maintain low accounts receivable turnover.

- Drive continuous improvement of processes, and coach others to build skills and improve efficiencies.

- Support all lines of business with escalated issues, and represent the global trade business to ensure timely and accurate response.

- Support all internal and client-related deadlines.

- Communicate clearly with business partners including front office, risk & control, and back office senior management teams.

- Maintain all budget targets.

- Enhance employee engagement and drive culture of recognition for excellent service and innovation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

- Strong technical skills in operations environment working with multiple lines of business.

- Knowledge of Trade Finance, and Standby letter of credit processes.

- Ability to work independently, and be effective in a fast paced global operating environment.

- Exceptional leadership and staff development skills with prior team management experience.

- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internal and with external clients.

- Strong client service skills.

- Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills.

- Expert use of Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
