Job description - Vice President - Delivery (Coding operations)
Responsible for the overall direction and performance of the teams
1. Responsible for managing the overall revenue for the business unit
2. Ability to set the vision, direction, and culture of the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals, and driving accountability and ownership to achieve targets
3. Manage the career growth and development of the team
4. Play a critical role in succession planning by providing guidance and mentorship to all levels of leadership within the Business unit
5. Responsible for Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; resolving conflicts; staffing; and development of employees, Standard Operating Procedures, high quality and productivity within the department
6. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures; additional responsibilities include interviewing, training and motivating employees; planning, assigning and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; and effective conflict resolution
7. Effectively partners and builds productive working relationships with direct reports, peers, leadership, and other departments
8. Manage workflow, handle escalations, proactively engage resources to address issues and effectively delegate workload across the leadership team
9. Drive creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, Lean/Kaizen activities, and other change/Six Sigma initiatives
10. Participate on business leadership meetings, helping to develop and drive strategies and programs which improve the competitive position and profitability of the organization
11. Identifying and eliminating root cause barriers to accuracy, productivity, and quality
12. Developing and achieving performance goals and objectives in order to achieve customer expectations
13. Represent the business unit during management and leadership review meetings
14. Develops and drives strategies and programs which improve the competitive position and profitability of the organization.

1. Should have prior exposure to US healthcare and Medical coding industry
2. Should have experience in managing large workforce
3. Should demonstrate strong leadership skills
4. Should have string financial and business acumen
5. Should have good client relationship skills
