Position based with a large listed NBFC in mumbai

Job Role:

- Borrowing: Identifying and securing sources of funding for the NBFC, which may include loans from Pvt and Foreign Banks, SFBs, large NBFCs,

- Raising of Funding through debentures from both Public and Private markets

- Raising of Commercial papers

- Securitisation of Portfolio to Banks

- Investment Management: Making strategic investment decisions to maximize returns on surplus funds while adhering to regulatory guidelines. This involves investments in various financial instruments like government securities, corporate bonds, and fixed deposits.

- Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating financial risks, including interest rate risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk. Developing risk management strategies to protect the NBFC's financial stability.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other regulatory bodies governing the NBFC sector, This is primary job of mid office and compliance but the person should know the regulations and able to guide the teams on need basis.

- Treasury Reporting: Providing regular reports to senior management and the board of directors on the company's treasury activities, including liquidity positions, investment performance, and risk exposure.

- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with relevant financial institutions to facilitate transactions, negotiate terms, and explore financial partnerships.

- Compliance and Audit: Coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to internal controls and policies. This is job of mid officer but person should be able to get himself/herself involved and guide whenever necessary

- Market Analysis: Keeping abreast of financial market trends, interest rate movements, and economic conditions to make informed decisions.
