Position Title : Technology Lead for CBG Asset Business

Job Purpose :
- Responsible for managing the Technology deliverables for Consumer Banking Asset Products and Credit Cards Business. Responsible for overall quality, stability and performance of the system.
- Transform requirements into architecture and blueprint for the solution being created.
- Document and manage how - applications are poised to work together with eco partner's products/SDK/Services/APIs etc. Involves defining the interaction between application packages, databases, and middleware systems in terms of functional and non-functional coverage (scalability, performance, resiliency, availability, instrumentation, monitoring etc.)
- Define & Manage the support model for smooth operation of integration model.
Key Accountabilities :
Fulfill all responsibilities in relation to -
- Defining end to end integration architecture and solution design aligning defined guidelines to meet business requirements, budget and strategic roadmap for applications used by various Business Units across - India
- Liaising with various System Owners, Development & Delivery Teams, Business, Operations, Legal & Compliance, Information Security, etc stakeholders and Internal Governance bodies to ensure they agree with the proposed architecture & solution design
- Resolving technical issues/gaps identified at any stage of application SDLC or BAU
- Ensuring non-functional aspect like high availability, scalability, security, performance, resiliency, cloud readiness, instrumentation & monitoring etc of eco partner integration are well crafted in architecture and design produced and are validated before & after implementation of application / enhancement / initiative / project etc.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
A. Subject Matter Expertise
- Act as visionary and strategist for integrating various ecosystem partners with - for Asset and Card Business.
- Survey market landscape for solution/application insights, direction, vendors, and methods
- Provides expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design artefacts
- Make presentations at internal conferences and authorship internal in publications
B. Early Ideation
- Help business development life cycle by serving as a Ecosystem Partner Integration SME to help identify and qualify business development opportunities
- Provide end to end integration solution and design details
- Drive POCs to assess new solution/application paths
- Lead / participate in product/vendor selection process and fit gap analysis
C. Methodology and Quality Assurance
- Lead development of formalized integration methodologies
- Contribute to a repository for solution/application artefacts
- Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources. Collaborates with Project Managers and technical staff to provision estimates, develop overall integration plan, and serve as a lead as required, to implement the installation, customization, and integration efforts
- Oversee aspects of project life cycle, from initial kick-off through requirements analysis, design, test and implementation phases for projects within the solution/application area
D. Work Force Management, Supervision and Mentoring
- Manages a team of direct reports (if applicable) who drive service lines in the integration of eco system partners in proposed solution/application area
- Assists staffing coordinators who define project team requirements for projects in solution/application area
- Work with Delivery to define overall recruiting needs in ecosystem partner integration
- Mentor and guide more junior technical resources
- Feed the overall project status to the senior management.
E. Guiding Applications Operations
- Responsible for the change in Ecosystem Partner Integration approach/resiliency mechanism for relevant applications to a total replacement at the end of their technology or functionality lifecycle.
- Maintain and monitor all aspects of the application integration:
a. Interoperability capability
b. Performance and scalability
c. Reliability and availability
d. Application lifecycle stage
e. Technological risks
f. Number of instances / country
g. Functionality and Capability
- Understand the system process flow of the primary business processes. It gives a clear picture of the functionality map and the applications footprint of various applications across the map.
Required Experience :
1. Minimal 7 years of experience for supporting Technology and Business in Consumer Banking Lending Products.
2. Desirable HIGH Experience on Product Life Cycle with credit Cards products, including switch and Originating Systems
3. Should have an understanding and experience in managing Lending Business, Origination and Management Systems (Finacle Preferable).
4. Clear understanding for settlement / reconciliation for credit cards and Lending products
5. Should Have a clear understanding to the Credit Under Writing Processes and Policies
6. Should have prior experience of Integrating and Interacting with Credit Bureau within India
7. Ability to analyse data and create relevant reports providing various views of business operations
8. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for consumer lending highly desirable
9. Must be able to communicate/ Participate into discussions involving analysis with peers, stakeholders and senior management
10. Desirable to have worked for minimal 3 years with IT infrastructure Support.
11. Desirable to have strong knowledge on transaction message formats/ Bureau reports
12. Perform analysis of data to create performance reporting and cross-section views of various performance factors related to underwriting, approval/decline and operations factors
13. Should be able to Support and Architect Lending Ecosystems including decision engines, Originating Systems, Transaction Systems and Report / Data Warehousing Systems.
