Vice President - Technology

Minimum Requirements :

- 15 + years of software/hardware engineering work with a deep understanding of software architecture.

- Strong understanding of current technologies and inter-dependencies between hardware and software.

- 8 to 10 years of executive management experience

- Proven success in bringing profitable innovative products to market

- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Excellent verbal, analytical and written skills.

- Capable of effectively communicating with customers.

- Master's degree in software and/or hardware engineering.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to both create change and work collaboratively with executives and staff in different offices.

Specific duties include :

- Collaborate with the executive team to assess and recommend technologies in support of company needs. Develop and maintain strategic technology platform roadmap for the company to ensure that our solution is meeting the needs of our customers and technological advancements in the industry.

- Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and servers.

- Establish a governance process that meets government, partner, and company expectations for customer information privacy and ensure compliance with data privacy laws applicable to our business.

- Communicate the company's technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders. Represent the company in public venues as needed to position us as the thought leader in the life sciences industry.
