About our Client - Our client is a Fortune 500 Financial Services organization. With business expanding on a constant basis a need has arisen for a senior tax professional to head two legal entities across direct taxation, indirect taxation, transfer pricing and litigation based out of Delhi NCR.

Job Description - Reporting to the Global Head of Tax, you would be responsible for:

- Direct taxation including corporate tax, advance tax and compliance

- Indirect taxation including service tax, VAT for locations across India

- Finalization of tax audit report, transfer pricing report and transfer pricing study

- Finalization of income tax return, return of fringe benefit tax and wealth tax return

- Finalization of FIN48 and FAS109 packages as required for filing US tax return of the parent company

- Expatriate taxation for inbound as well as outbound assignees

- International tax including analysis of double taxation avoidance agreement, foreign pay outs and expatriate taxation

- Compliance with statutory provisions of tax deduction at source / service tax / excise and VAT

- Tax assessments including representation before Assessing officer, transfer pricing officer and CIT (A)

- Preparing and reviewing Financial Statements according to the requirements of the Income tax Act

- Handling of transfer pricing documentation, coordination with TP auditors for timely issuance of TP certificate and TP study

The Successful Candidate - You are a Qualified CA ('02/'03 Batch) with at least 6 years of experience in taxation. Strong knowledge in direct & indirect taxation along with tax implication while transitioning work from onshore along with an understanding on structuring transactions would be required. You must also have prior experience and a proven track record in managing teams and stakeholders. Experience in any of the Big 4 setups would be an added advantage.
