Vice President - Supply Chain Management

Role: VP - Global Supply Chain Management

Job Description:

- Analyse information about vendor performance and procurement program.

- Build demand forecast from Sales Forecast and Delivery Backlog/Plan for vendors to ensure availability of materials for JIT delivery.

- Manage and Coordinate activities related to purchasing of software and hardware across all functions in the organization, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, and receiving.

- Monitor vendor performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.

- Select most cost-effective transportation route (air, rail, sea, or road) and reduce costs by combining shipments.

- Track the shipments to monitor and analyse the performance of transporters for quality and delivery norms.

- Managing import / export operations in compliance with custom laws, export-import policies, and other statutory obligations.

- Negotiate prices and terms with vendors, and freight forwarders.

- Monitor and report quantity and price variances on Bill-of-Material quoted to the customers.

- Well versed with P2P cycle and global supply chain.

- Hands on experience in working with OEMs from IT & Telecom sector.

- Ability to work with cross functional team to understand 3rd party requirements and fulfil those.

- Work with OEM and project team for timely transfer of warranty.

- Maintain records for SOS & EOS for all software subscription and work with support/AMC team for timely renewal.

- Hands on experience in sourcing vendors for installation & configuration services for all project requirements globally.

- Experience in Commercial Procurement, and Price Negotiation.

- Should have knowledge on global inventory management.

- Experience leading a team of procurement professionals.
