Business Unit Overview:

The core responsibility of the Capital Markets Product Control group is to develop and maintain a strong control infrastructure around the revenue generating capabilities of the firm. Product Control seeks to challenge and partner the business in order to optimize financial returns.

The Structured Deal Review process is one element of a wider control framework that ensures the accuracy of trade bookings and the correct representation of trades in the firm's risk and accounting systems. This includes:

- Checking the booking and payoff with available documentation

- Verifying the day 1 PnL

- Checking the regulatory capital charge and reserve requirements.

- Understanding and monitoring model restrictions

Experience 12+ years

Qualification Any graduate (Preferable MBA)

Role & Responsibilities:

Scope of Role

- Engage, motivate and manage a highly talented team of ~10 employees with strong focus on grooming and developing talent

- Efficiently manage assignments and prioritize work load to ensure goals are met

- Ensure appropriate governance is set and adhered for the team including SMCR.

- Ensure strong control environment in the team by implementing and monitoring effectiveness of processes and by increasing awareness in the team.

- Establish, maintain and strengthen effective working relationships with regional stakeholders

- Face Critical Audits (Internal and External) and remediate issues reported.
