We are currently hiring for one of our Banking Captive at Bangalore India.
We are looking for a candidate who can bring leadership, strategy, and design mindset to our Operations change program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering major transformation across Operations and Technology groups, with significant consulting skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly to a senior audience, and to run governance forums and program management. A background in Reference Data, and a good understanding of Operations would be a strong advantage to the successful applicant, as would either a banking, vendor, or consulting background
As the India Lead for Strategy and Transformation you will report to the Global Head of RDS Strategy & Transformation, based in London, and regionally to the Head of Reference Data Services in India
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management of multiple aspects of the Data Governance program for Instrument & Product Data - driving compliance with the firm's data policies
- Develop future strategic opportunities working with Operations and Technology management
- Chair and drive working groups, steering and operating committees
- Drive adoption of strategic data platforms working with senior stakeholders across all business divisions at the bank
- Manage headcount and data costs and targets
- Bring thought leadership on Operational design to every aspect of change within the portfolio

- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivery (including project scope definition; project risks/issues definition and management, status reporting, requirements gathering and test management)
- Strong analytical skills including process analysis/re-engineering
- Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders outside their direct control
- Facilitate project working groups and possesses strong leadership skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to present at senior levels to large audiences
- Strategic thinker with strong business analysis, planning and data visualization skills
- Capable of identifying and interpreting wider-ranging issues: Big picture understanding and provide creative & innovative solutions to improve processes (costs, risk, service)
- Strong organization skills - Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize work under tight deadlines
- Exemplary attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Previous experience in Operations, Financial Services Industry and/or dealing with business change
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and SharePoint
- Knowledge of products and processes related to the financial services industry would be an advantage, as is related experience in technology strategy in a business function and / or management consulting
