Vice President - Strategy

Job Description :

Work with Chair, Council and Secretariat to execute the identified actions and provide leadership to the Council COE.

1. Crafting the path of strategically implementing the organization's vision.

2. To work with internal and external stake holders like Government, academia, industry members, External consultants and other industry associations to establish COEs in the identified areas.

3. To work with members and prepare industry relevant competency matrix and Case studies to position the industry with the stake holders.

4. To evangelize the talent development initiatives for the sector.

5. To identify future opportunities and create a strategic roadmap from an overall nation-building perspective.

6. Industry Council Member Coordination and Agenda Execution :

- Preparing and executing the budget and device strategies to raise funds

- Communicating and coordinating with the members of the Industry Council.

- Executing on the Industry Councils agenda; Constantly engage with Members of the sector beyond council members

- Communicating and coordinating all the IC's activities and goals (also handling day-to-day budgets)

- Communicating and coordinating with the EC members and other ICs and sending them timely information on the Industry Council developments.

- Helping further the interests of the IC by Industry Positioning & Representation, C-Suite Connect, Maximize Member Participation

7. To support the events team to implement successful summits.

8. Reviewing budgets and financial projections and adjusting as needed -approving additional expenses as well as one-off project requests

9. Providing insight and direction to the CEO

10. Working with management to address specific concerns

11. Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment

12. Sharing information with the board of directors

13. Growing revenue, and market share through careful leadership and policy enforcement

14. Attending meetings, serving as a liaison between the CEO and the board
