Job Brief:
You will be responsible for leading the organizations's University and College sales strategy, managing a sales team, and driving revenue growth through business development and relationship management. Focus must be on establishing and managing partnerships with key organisations to drive business growth and achieve strategic goals.
This role requires strong relationship building skills, an understanding of the business landscape, and the ability to negotiate and manage complex agreements to drive mutual benefits for the company and its partners.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Devise and execute strategy for overall business development with respect to University and College partnerships.
2. Manage the region's sales funnel efficiently, from lead generation and qualification to conversion and onboarding.
3. Uphold strong connections with key client stakeholders and university and college senior management.
4. Liaise with various development departments to ensure deal closure and customer.
5. Measure daily, weekly, monthly performance trends of each team member and take corrective actions to achieve team and organisational goals.
6. Train and develop the team for sales to revenue realisation based activities.
Preferred Skill Sets:
1. Relevant 5-10 years of sales experience with a distinctive track record of exceeding sales targets.
2. Experience of selling skill-tech or ed-tech products or services to College / Universities will be a big plus.
3. Having strong ties to the college community is a plus.
4. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services, and to position products against competitor
5. Excellent organisational and management skills
Prerequisite for applying for the position:
1. Are available for full-time in-office employment (Office Location - Kurla, Mumbai)
2. Can work from the office and can join on short notice
