Qualifications:
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Management in related field/Supply Chain Management (preferred).
- Very good understanding of Chinese RM/FG suppliers (raw material/finished goods) and the RM trends, Chinese Govt policies etc.
- Good exposure to Contract manufacturing space and contacts with potential Contract Manufacturers.
- Around - 15 - 20 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of sourcing best practices, negotiation techniques, and contract management principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. You should be able to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sourcing strategies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Agrochemical industry or market knowledge is highly desirable.
Position Overview:
As the Vice President - Sourcing - Agrochemicals, your role will be to develop and execute sourcing strategies that ensure we procure high-quality materials and services at the best possible value. You'll lead a team of Agrochemicals sourcing professionals, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand our business needs and improve efficiencies across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and negotiation, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Industry Experience:
Extensive experience working in the agrochemical industry or related sectors such as agriculture, chemicals or crop protection. In-depth understanding of the agribusiness landscape, including knowledge of industry dynamics, market trends, regulatory requirements and challenges specific to the sector would be preferable.

2. Supplier Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with our key suppliers. Negotiate contracts, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier capabilities and reliability.
3. Supply Chain Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk reduction, and process improvements within our supply chain. Let's streamline our operations and boost efficiency.
4. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to our sourcing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning to drive team performance and professional growth.
5. Market Analysis: Keep a close eye on market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance. This knowledge will inform our sourcing strategies and help us stay competitive in the marketplace.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including our manufacturing, finance, and logistics teams. We need to understand their requirements, align sourcing strategies, and work together on cross-functional initiatives.
7. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure we comply with relevant regulations, standards, and ethical practices. Proactively manage supply chain risks to protect our business continuity.
