CRO Change Reporting Platform Site Lead
CRO Change has geographic leadership in place overseeing CRO Change activities in one of the Americas, Europe, APAC, and Switzerland regions. The site lead role reports to the head of the CRO Change Reporting Platform.
The site role involves governance of CRO Change across that location, building up the talent and resource pool and ensuring the team is appropriately trained and developed to provide best in class change capability, providing pastoral care (e.g., talent, performance management, development) to the team, and ensuring fair play and consistency in compensation.
The Site Lead is responsible for the following:
- Delivery of a specific project within the reporting Horizontal
- Run a detailed milestone plan that incorporates input from IT, UAT & Implementation
- Align delivery Milestones into the CR / MR or ERM high level delivery plans
- Define resourcing requirements
- Manage a team of BA's to capture Business, Functional & Non Functional requirements
- Complete a weekly status reporting activity capturing progress, blockers, RAG, RAIDS and escalation points
- Manage relationship with key business SMEs, IT PM and Development Team
- Escalate deviation from critical path planning to Delivery Leads
- Effective day to day execution and oversight of activities undertaken by, and which are the accountability of, the CRO Change in the location
- Representing CRO Change at the Site Management Committee forums, as appropriate
- Maintain awareness of and take local accountability for all activities undertaken within the CRO Change function which impact in-scope legal entities, or businesses within the region
- Working with the global programme and functional managers to support the global programmes and implementing as required in the region
- Guiding development & implementation of internal policies & procedures across the region, where regionalisation is needed
- Working with the global functional managers to ensure that qualified, competent staff are hired, retained and rewarded in the location, and are being utilised to their optimum
- This includes reviewing performance rating and compensation distribution for purposes of fair play and consistency across the region and in line with regional norms, expectations and performance
- In addition, the site head will be expected to be able to take responsibility for, and drive projects and programmes, as a delivery/project lead in addition to the site responsibilities
Desired Skill Set
Senior programmer management and experience facing off to senior stakeholders and building and maintaining relationships across the business
- Track record of hiring and retaining strong team members and promoting internal job mobility
- Ability to communicate with clients, managers and colleagues across functions and locations
- Strong skills in negotiating, relationship building, problem solving, and timely issue escalation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, including representing the CRO Change function in a matrix organisation
- Proven ability to deliver across multiple functions and navigating competing priorities
